Our Methodology
A structured approach, adapted to each context.
TDS uses a structured approach to understand requirements, design an appropriate response and support its application. The process varies according to the service, the client context and the intended outcome.
- 01
Understand the context
We begin by understanding the institution, learner group or organization; the need being addressed; the existing practices or resources; and the purpose of the engagement.
- 02
Identify the requirements
We clarify the scope of work, intended users, available information, expected deliverables and practical constraints. This helps ensure that the proposed response is relevant to the actual requirement.
- 03
Design the response
We develop the content, learning activities, documentation or support process appropriate to the identified need. Design decisions take account of context, usability and the people expected to use the output.
- 04
Support implementation and application
The designed work is put into use through the agreed process. Depending on the service, this may involve document development, system setup and handover, guided learning activities, training or structured practice.
- 05
Provide feedback and review
Where relevant to the engagement, work is reviewed against the agreed requirements. Feedback, clarification and revision help improve the output or support further development.
- 06
Improve and strengthen
Review helps identify what is working, what needs attention and what should be strengthened in the next cycle. TDS values reusable systems and processes that can be reviewed and improved over time.
